A boutique day spa + medical spa in downtown Sanford, NC, built from a single spray tan tent in 2015 and grown into a collective of independent licensed pros. Voted Best Day Spa in Sanford every year since 2021.

It started at home.
In 2015, Hannah Hepler bought a spray tan machine and started spraying friends and clients out of her own house. The mobile work followed, but not door-to-door. She loaded the kit for group events: cheer teams prepping for nationals, fitness competitors prepping for stage, spa parties, wedding parties. By 2016 she’d rented a room in a local salon.
2017 was the year everything changed. Hannah got formal training from an industry expert in Raleigh, joined the American Spray Tan Professionals (ASTP), and started attending the annual ASTP Summit in Las Vegas every year through 2020 for advanced certification. The same year, “Hannah Cabana Tans” became The Cabana: a real downtown studio, joined by a lash artist, a makeup artist, and a few massage therapists who liked the energy of working under one roof while keeping their own books, their own brand, and their own business.
That model (independent licensed pros, not employees) became the structural difference that defines The Cabana today.

The Cabana is a boutique collective: licensed professionals who chose to work alongside each other instead of each building a business alone. Each one is skilled across the services they offer, with their own clientele and their own approach. Whether you stick with one favorite or swap between specialists across visits, the goal is the same: the result you came for, delivered with skill.
What lives under one roof:
- Skincare & Facials: signature and corrective facials, chemical peels, Procell microchanneling, Circadia + K-Beauty protocols
- Waxing: Brazilian, bikini, body, face, plus skincare-grade Vajacial tiers
- Spray Tanning: the original Cabana Tan, founder-trained since 2016
- Massage: Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, Thai, sports
- Nails: structured gel, Gel-X, nail art, healthy-nail care
- Lashes & Brows: extensions (classic, volume, hybrid), Korean lash lifts, brow lamination, brow mapping
- Medical Spa: Botox, fillers, Sculptra, microneedling with PRP, BHRT, IV hydration, medical weight loss, with Tonya Pounds, FNP (on-site the second Tuesday of every month)
- Teeth Whitening: laser-activated, in one visit
