Hey there! I’m Hannah, your skincare bestie, glow guru, and the proud owner of The Cabana. I’m a licensed esthetician specializing in results-driven treatments including chemical peels, dermaplaning, lash lifts, brow laminations, spray tanning, full-body waxing, and laser teeth whitening.
I work with professional skincare lines including PCA Skin, Circadia, SKINscript, and ZO Skin Health to customize treatments based on your skin’s needs. For at-home care and post-treatment recovery, I primarily recommend Circadia for its science-backed formulations, barrier support, and real-world results.
With a background in healthcare and a heart for people, my approach is professional, personal, and always judgment-free. Whether you’re booking a quick glow-up or building a long-term skin plan, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

I work in tandem with my sister, Kela, and together we make up Gem ’N’ Eye Beauty. We’ve curated the coziest vibe in our collaborative work space just for you.

Meet Kristina, our lash and waxing specialist who’s all about helping you feel confident and beautiful in your own skin. As a licensed esthetician, she’s mastered the art of creating flawless brows and stunning lashes that enhance your natural beauty.
Kristina’s passion shines through in every service, whether she’s perfecting a lash lift, sculpting the perfect brow shape, or providing smooth, precise waxing. She believes that when you look good, you feel good, and she’s dedicated to making sure every client leaves feeling like their best self.
When she’s not at The Cabana, you’ll find Kristina living life in the fast lane. Literally. Racing is in her blood, and she loves everything from racing her own car to hitting the track and checking out car shows. As a Halloween-loving married mom of two beautiful girls, she knows how to balance the thrill of the race with the joy of family time and making memories.

Tonya Pounds, FNP
Your medical provider at The Cabana.
TONYA POUNDS, FNP, Owner of Magnolia Healthcare & Aesthetics.
Born and raised just outside Raleigh, North Carolina, Tonya earned her Undergraduate in Education at East Carolina University. Upon graduation, Tonya attended Wake Technical Community College, where she became a Registered Nurse and joined the Neurology/PACU team at UNC REX Hospital.
While employed at REX, her passion for serving others through healthcare prompted her to earn her BSN and MSN, FNP-C from South University in Savannah, Georgia. From 2017 to 2022, Tonya was employed as a Nurse Practitioner in both Anesthesia at Wake Med and NiteLite Pediatric Urgent Care in the evenings. In 2021, Tonya earned her certification in aesthetics at the Laser Institute in Charlotte.
In November of 2022, Tonya opened the doors to Magnolia Healthcare & Aesthetics, a privately owned medical and aesthetics facility serving all walks of life.
When Tonya is not working, you can find her traveling, soaking up the salty air of the NC coast, working out, or spending time with her fur babies and/or nieces and nephews (all of whom she loves to spoil!).

Availability at The Cabana
Tonya visits The Cabana the second Tuesday of every month to provide injectables, IV hydration, medical weight loss, BHRT, and peptide therapy to the Sanford area. Appointments fill quickly. We recommend booking at least 2 to 3 weeks in advance.
If a 2nd Tuesday doesn’t work for you, Tonya also sees patients at her main practice, Magnolia Healthcare & Aesthetics in Clayton, NC, and at other partner locations in Dunn and Coats.

Hello, I’m Kela Chanelle, a licensed Massage Therapist and Esthetician since 2017. At The Cabana, I specialize in relaxation massage, muscle relief, Thai massage, corrective skincare, and eyebrow waxing and tinting.
I’ve been passionate about beauty and wellness from a young age, and I truly believe self-care is essential to feeling your best. Whether it’s a walk, yoga, or a well-deserved vacation, self-care helps us find peace in daily life, and I bring that philosophy into every service I provide.
I hold a master certification in Skin Script and trained at both The AVEDA Institute and The Body Therapy Institute, two of North Carolina’s most respected programs. My experience at Pinehurst Resort and Spa taught me the art of luxury service and the importance of tailoring each treatment to meet your unique needs.
My goal is always to create a relaxing, rejuvenating experience that leaves you feeling renewed.

Meet Lauryn, our nail technician who’s all about healthy nails and creative expression. A 2024 graduate of Fayetteville Technical Community College, this Western Harnett native now calls Sanford home, and we’re lucky to have her at The Cabana.
Lauryn specializes in natural nail health, helping clients build strong, beautiful nails from the inside out. But don’t let her focus on nail care fool you: she also loves showcasing her artistic side with custom nail art that’s as unique as you are. Whether you’re after a classic, polished look or something bold and creative, Lauryn’s got the skills to bring your vision to life.
When she’s not perfecting manicures, you’ll find Lauryn living her best life: relaxing poolside or at the beach with a cocktail in hand, diving into a good book, or spending quality time with her husband (her high school sweetheart since 2020), her cats, and her favorite people. She’s always experimenting with fun TikTok recipes and hunting down the latest beauty secrets to share with her clients.

Von brings nearly two decades of expertise to The Cabana, having practiced massage therapy since 2005. Throughout her career, she’s specialized in muscle restoration, working closely with chiropractors to help clients find relief and recovery. Her skillset includes therapeutic massage, Thai foot massage, and reflexology, techniques that reflect her commitment to holistic wellness and her love of continuous learning.
When she’s not in the treatment room, Von is an avid traveler with a passion for beaches and ocean views. She’s explored everywhere from the coasts of Kenya to the shores of Aruba, Trinidad and Tobago, and has made Costa Rica a favorite repeat destination. Her travels have taken her across the United States as well, from east coast to west coast, always seeking new experiences and inspiration.
Von’s curiosity extends beyond bodywork: she holds multiple degrees and certifications, and loves crafting her own soaps and lotions, blending her therapeutic knowledge with creative expression. While she’ll be the first to admit cooking isn’t her forte, she approaches life with the same enthusiasm she brings to her work: always learning, always exploring, and always caring for others.

Meet Teresa, our newest massage therapist who brings warmth, intention, and a genuine passion for your comfort to every session. As a mother of three boys, Teresa understands the importance of carving out time for self-care, and she’s here to make sure yours counts.
Teresa specializes in Swedish massage, deep tissue, hot stone therapy, and glide cupping, tailoring each treatment to exactly what your body needs. Her love for aromatherapy means she’s always experimenting with essential oil blends to enhance your experience and create the perfect atmosphere for relaxation.
When she’s not at The Cabana helping clients unwind, you might find Teresa on a nature walk, creating art, brunching with friends, or treating herself to a spa day (because even massage therapists need pampering!). She stays grounded through yoga and body pump classes, and she’s no stranger to the elliptical. Her passion for wellness extends beyond the treatment room: she loves traveling to tropical and scenic destinations where she can recharge and bring fresh inspiration back to her practice.
Teresa also works alongside her sister at Hostler Holistics in Durham, where their shared commitment to holistic healing runs deep.

I’m a mom of two, a proud military spouse, and a dog mom, so I know how important it is to take a little time for yourself! I spent five years working in dermatology, where I discovered my passion for skincare and helping others feel confident in their skin.
I especially enjoy creating personalized skincare experiences that leave clients feeling refreshed, cared for, and glowing. My goal is for every client to leave feeling relaxed, confident, and excited about their skin. When I’m not in the treatment room, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family or loving on our dog!
