Why our teeth whitening is different

01
Sanford-exclusive

The only laser whitening in Sanford

The Cabana is the only spa in the area offering laser teeth whitening. Other local options stop at strips, trays, or take-home kits. The laser activation is the difference between a small lift and a real, photo-ready brightening in one visit.

02
Triple-gel + LED

One session does the work of weeks of strips

We layer three rounds of professional whitening gel under cool LED activation. A single 60 minute appointment delivers results that take weeks of nightly strip use to come close to, without the everyday drip of sensitivity that strips create.

03
Owner-led

Hannah's protocol, every session

Hannah and Kristen both perform whitening on the same system. Gel placement, lip and gum protection, and LED timing follow Hannah's protocol on every session, so the result is consistent and the comfort is dialed in.

Before and after your visit

What to do before your visit, and how to look after your skin once you leave.

Pre-careRead this before your appointment
  • Brush and floss before you arrive

A clean enamel surface lets the gel make full contact. Brush gently and floss within an hour of your appointment.

  • Eat first, then whiten

You will want to avoid staining foods and drinks for 48 hours after, so have your coffee, berries, and red sauces beforehand. Showing up a little hungry is fine, but a meal beforehand keeps you from running out for one after.

  • Heads up if you have crowns, veneers, or bonding

Whitening only brightens natural enamel, not dental work. Tell Hannah at booking if you have crowns, veneers, or bonding in your smile line so she can set realistic expectations for the final shade match.

Post-careYour skin needs you for 48 hours
  1. First 48 hours (the critical window)
    • Avoid coffee, tea, red wine, dark sodas, and dark juices
    • Skip dark berries, beets, soy sauce, balsamic, tomato sauce, and curry
    • No tobacco products in any form
    • Stick to clear or light-colored foods and drinks: water, milk, white fish, chicken, rice, cauliflower, plain pasta
    • If you have to drink something dark, use a straw and rinse with water after
  2. After 48 hours
    • You can return to normal eating and drinking
    • Use a sensitivity toothpaste for the first week if you feel any cold-sensitivity
    • A whitening toothpaste 2 to 3 times a week helps stretch the result
    • If you booked the Special Event package, follow Hannah's take-home pen instructions for nightly touch-ups
  3. Going forward
    • Plan a Returning Client Refresh every 4 to 6 months to hold the lift
    • Heavy coffee or red wine drinkers tend to land at the 4-month cadence
    • Text (833) 900-9364 with any questions or sensitivity concerns

Frequently asked

Straight answers from the pros who do the work.

Strips deliver a thin layer of low-concentration gel through a flexible plastic film, worn nightly for weeks. Our laser whitening layers three rounds of professional-strength gel under direct LED activation in a single 60 minute session. One Cabana Signature Whitening is roughly equivalent to several rounds of nightly strips, with a brighter end result and no daily sensitivity buildup.

The session itself is comfortable. Some clients feel small zings or cold-sensitivity in the 24 hours after, especially if they already run sensitive. Hannah uses gum and lip protection throughout, paces the gel rounds, and can adjust if you feel anything sharp. A sensitivity toothpaste for the first few days handles most after-effects.

Most clients hold their result for 6 to 12 months depending on lifestyle. Daily coffee, tea, red wine, and tobacco shorten that window. A Returning Client Refresh every 4 to 6 months is the easiest way to keep the lift, and most regulars settle into a refresh-twice-a-year rhythm.

Whitening only brightens natural enamel. It will not change the color of crowns, veneers, fillings, or bonding. If you have dental work in your smile line, tell Hannah at booking. She will set realistic expectations and may steer you toward a whitening goal that matches your existing dental work, rather than pushing for a shade that would leave your restorations visibly different.

The system uses a professional-grade hydrogen peroxide whitening gel, applied in three controlled rounds with cool LED activation. Hannah and Kristen are trained on the system and use lip and gum protection at every step. It is non-invasive, non-surgical, and not a dental procedure. If you have active gum disease, untreated cavities, or recent dental work, finish the dental side of things first and then come see us.

Yes, and it is one of our most-booked event-prep combos. Pro timing from Hannah: whitening first, then spray tan 24 to 48 hours before your event so both are at peak.

Cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment are charged 50% of the service price. No-shows are charged the full service price. Card on file required for booking. Full policy on our Cancellation Policy page.
